Protein Waffles
Ingredients:
1 scoop Snickerdoodle Shakeology* (or vanilla with added spices) **
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup almond milk (or water)
1 large egg, lightly beaten
Approx 1/3 - 1/2 cup grated zucchini (optional)
Non Stick olive oil spray
Pure Maple Syrup
1 cup fruit or half of a large banana
Directions:
1. Add egg & almond milk; stir until combined
2. Add Shakeology & baking powder; stir until combined
3. Add grated zucchini & additional water, as needed, to thin the batter slightly.
4. Preheat a mini waffle iron & lightly coat with spray.
5. Pour half the batter for 1 waffle & cook until firm & ready. Remove cooked waffle & repeat with the other half.
6. Top with 1 - 2 TBSP maple syrup & fruit and ENJOY!

** Add 1 tsp cinnamon; 1/2 tsp ginger; 1/4 tsp cloves; 1/8 tsp cardamom to vanilla protein powder (adjust as desired)
